The band is a friendly, progressive and busy group of musicians catering to all musical abilities. It is made up of three bands: Andover Town Band, Youth and Community Band and Prospects.
Andover Town Band were promoted to the West of England 1st section in 2018. In March 2019 the band came 6th out of 16 contestants in the Regional Contest playing Symphony of Marches composed by Gilbert Vinter.
The Youth and Community Band won Best Cornet Section and Best Bass Section at the 2019 Wessex Training and Youth Band Festival. They went on to win Best Soloist, Best Cornet Section and came Second overall in 2020.
We are very proud of Prospects, our beginners group, open to adults and children who would like to learn and join the world of brass banding.
Throughout the year, we enjoy a good mixture of concerts, charity events, contests and foreign tours.
The Town Band rehearse Tuesday and Thursday at St Michael and All Angels Church, 7:30pm - 9pm.
The Youth and Community Band, including Prospects, rehearse Thursday evenings 6:30pm - 7:30pm.

Update from the Andover Town Band Management Team in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the latest advice from the Government and Brass Bands England, ATB are suspending all rehearsals and public events.
We will continue to keep track of the situation and take advice on the best course of action. Our committee are meeting regularly online to discuss the best path forward, and we’re investigating ways that we can use technology to keep rehearsing and making music together, and be a community that supports one another.
